Founded in 2011 by Dale Unnuk, Big Green Surf School was initially based in Newquay. In 2016, they became the sole activity provider on nearby Crantock Beach, working in partnership with the National Trust.
With a beautiful beach all to themselves, Dale and his team are able to focus on providing their customers with a bespoke experience in their own little slice of paradise.
In 2019, Big Green Surf School started using eola to take online bookings and manage their business via one simple, lightning-fast platform. Designed to work flawlessly in low-signal environments, it was perfect for their unique, secluded location on Crantock Beach.
By combining online bookings with those taken in person and over the phone, eola has allowed owner Dale and his team to provide customers with the seamless online booking experience they want, without shutting the door on walk-ins.
“We have very little infrastructure down here. When we started we could barely send a text message. We were fully reliant on just pen and paper.
As more people wanted to book online, it became really difficult for us to be able to combine the two - to have online bookings, but to keep our system up to date with walk-in customers.
Having a platform where all of that can come together has made a huge difference."
